Teaching Practice 3rd semester (weekly journal5)

Day-20 (04/12/2023)

After signing the attendance register, the school started with a prayer.The school election was conducted on the same day which helped us to understand the election procedures.The election was conducted from 10:00am to 11:00am and followed by counting till 12:00 pm.On 4th period I got class in9C and I took 'Election Reforms and'Election and Political Parties'.  As there is a lesson plan iwas able to  complete the portions on time. And I also used chart and activity card. And I got substitution period on 9C and take the portion 'coalition politics and election' and psephology  .At 3:30pm, after signing the register I got off there.

Day-21 (05/12/2023)

After signing the attendance register, the school started with a prayer.On 3rd and 4th period we trained 16 students to attend the exam national means cum-merit scholarship (NMMS).On 5th period at 9C I taught a new chapter 'Population, Migration and Settlements . And the topic I taught there was Population and Population Growth..As there was a lesson template I was able to complete the portions on time.And I got class in 9D in 7th period and I taught the portions. got substitution at 7C on 2nd period. And I got substitution on 6th period in 9C and taught the portion  Migration it's significance and consequences of migration.At 3:30 pm after signing the register I got off there.

Day-22 (06/12/2023)

Today there was no classes due to educational strike.But we stayed there till noon with other teachers.After signing the attendance register,we got off there.

Day-23 (07/12/2023)

After signing the attendance register, school started with a prayer. My 4th period was at CLASS 9C which was observed by sir from Kaviyattu college of education  and was able to take the class effectively  and properly. I used ICT to  convey the concept to the students. In 9C I took Settlements and  Rural Settlements.on 6th period I got class at 9D, where I took the portions which was assigned to me.  I got substitution on 7 period in 5B.At 3:30 pm after signing the attendance register I left the school.

Day-24 (08/12/2023)

After signing the attendance register the school started with a prayer.On 2nd period I got class in 9C. Where I started the new chapter ' Kerala from Eighth to Eighteenth century' and took the portion ' Perumals'. As there was a lesson template I was able to complete the portions on time.After signing the attendance register I left the school by 4.

Week 05

TEACHING PRACTICE -3 SEMESTER (WEEKLY JOURNAL 4)

Day-15 (27/11/2023)

After signing the attendance register, school started with a prayer and there was also a pledge based on constitution day on 26 th November. I had classes at 9D on 2nd period and taught the portions. As per the time table I got class in 9C in 4th hour ,where I teach them the topic 'Music'. I was able to take the class effectively.And my learning aids were activity card and  Chart.  And I got exam duty on 8B and 8C respectively.Then after signing the attendance register, I got off school at 3:30 pm.

Day-16 (28/11/2023)

After signing the attendance register, school started with a prayer.we were incharge of taking care of the students as there  was a teacher's meeting being conducted at school from 1:00 pm.On 5th period at 9C were itaught the topic 'Architecture and paintings'.The school conducted parents meeting  at 3:00 pm so that I couldn't get  classes in 9D.After that at 3:30 pm, I got off the school.

Day-17 (29/11/2023)

After signing the attendance register, school started with a prayer. I had classs on 6th and 7th period on 9C  and 9D.At 9C I took simple majority system and proportional representation  it's features and significance. I was able to wind up the class on time with the help of well prepared lesson plan.  And I  used ICT to teach them. After the national anthem, as per the announcement the girls were asked to leave first and the boys were asked to leave after the second bell.Then I signed my attendance register and left the school.

Day-18 (30/11/2023)

After signing the attendance register, school started with a prayer. I had class at 9C on 3rd period, where I teach them constituency and Reserved constituency . I was able to wind up the class on time with the help of well prepared lesson plan.Also I got substitution at 9C where I took  the portion Free and Fair Election.I got 6 period in 9D where I taught the portions.After signing the attendance register, I left the school by 3.30.

Day -19( 01/12/2023)

After signing the attendance register, the school had an assembly based on disability day,where the disabled children conducted the assembly with their abilities.Due to assembly 1st period was extended to 10:30 am. I had classes at 2nd period in 9C and take 'Independent Election Commission' and functions of 'Election Commission'.I was able to wind up the class on time with the help of well prepared lesson template.we had some works based on the school election too.After completing it l left the school at 4:00 pm.

Day-11 (20/11/2023)

20/11/2023,after signing the attendance register, the school started with prayer.on the 4th period I had class at 9C and took  Bhakti movement .I have reached them then significance and importance of bhakti movement.After that I got class in 9D in 2nd period  and I taught the portions.'.Then at 3:30, after signing the register I got off.

Day-12(21/11/2023)

21/11/2023,after signing the attendance register, the school started with prayer and there were many substitution classes. At first I got substitution at 7B,marked there attendance and asks them to read their textbook. My 4th period was at CLASS 9C which was observed by sir from Kaviyattu college of education . I was able to properly follow the lesson template. I used Ict,chart and activity card to convey concepts based on Veerashaiva Movement.Then at 3:30, after signing the register I got off there.

Day-13(22/11/2023)

22/11/2023, after signing the attendance register, the school started with prayer. I got substitution at 7C and 5B and 5C respectively on different periods. On 6th period I had class at 9D where I took  the portions '.and was able to follow the lesson template properly.And got 7th period in 9C and taught the portion Bhakti Movement in North India . The aids that I used was chart, Activity card. And was able to follow the lesson template. Then at 3:30, after signing the register I got off .

Day-14(24/11/2023)

24/11/2023, after signing the attendance register the school started with prayer.On  2nd period my class was at 9C and take the portion 'Growth of regional Languages'.i clearly follow the lesson template so that I was able to complete the  poryions on time.I used chart, Activity Card as my aid for teaching those portions.Then at 4:00 pm after signing the register I got off.

3rd week

TEACHING PRACTICE -3 rd SEMESTER (WEEKLY JOURNAL 1)

Day-1(06/11/2023)

Our first phase of teaching practice day started from 6th November 2023.I reached my school govt VHS, pirappancode early and met head master and then concerned teachers.On  the 2 th and 4 th period I went to my concerned 9.C and 9.D classes. On that day I  introduced myself and created  rapport with students.on the same day I gave an introduction to Economic Growth and Economic Development. During lunch break I served meals to students . I took several substitutions classes along with my prescribed time table, due to the subdistrict youth festival competition held in various school in the district area, teachers were in charge to accompany the participants. At 3:30 I got off there. 

Day-2(07/11/2023)

After signing the attendance register, the school started with a prayer song. In the 4th and 5 th period I went to my 9C class and 9D and  took the class based on the topic 'Human Developmental Index and was able to properly follow the lesson template. I got 5 th period at 9 D and took a lesson . I took several substitutions classes along with my prescribed time table. At 3:30  I signed the register and got off there.

Day-3(08/11/2023)

08 November 2023,i reached the school early, Signed the attendance register and  got substitution classes. On 6th  period I had  class on 9C. and 7th period on 9.D. I went to 9.C and took the class based on the topic Human Happiness Index. And I went o 9.D in 7th period and took a lesson. On 4th period and  2 period I got substitutions  on 5B and 5C .At 3:30 after signed attendance I got off there. 

Day-4(9/11/2023)

After signing the attendance register, the school started with a prayer song. In the 3rd and 6th period. I went to my 9C class and took the class based on the topic  Challenges faced by development india. I was able to properly follow the lesson template. I got 6 th period in 9D and took a lesson . At 3:30 I signed the register and got off there.

Day-5 (10/11/2023)

10 November 2023,i reached the school early, Signed the attendance register. On 2nd period I had class at 9C and took the topic based on   'Sustainable Development' .On the same day food fest was conducted on school. At 3:30 after signed attendance I got off there. 

This week was quite interesting and tried to adapt according to the situation of the school and started slowly to mould my personality as a teacher.
